Swanage Carnival Water Sports

Swanage Bay Swim Monday. Sponsored by Costcutters Swanage
The bay swim has become one of the regatta and carnival's most popular and competitive events during carnival week. With competitors ageing from 11 years old to the masters of the sea and abilities ranging from swimmers that just want to finish to national standard, it really is an event for everyone and anyone.
So if you just want a bit of fun, a workout, or those who want a serious race against other competitors, the tide and waves then come and enter.

The bay swim is also an event for the spectators - superb views of the swimmers can be gained between the parade, Mowlem and stone quay. So if you are aiming to become Britain’s next Olympic champion or would just like to watch a future gold medallist come and join the fun.

Prizes in the form of cups and medals will be awarded after each event, entry forms available from the stone quay at 6.00pm. Swimmers must be able to swim at least 100 metres or the distance of the event they are aiming to enter.
