This year’s Carnival Queen contest, will take place on Friday, 12th March 2010 in the top room at the East Bar, High Street, Swanage from 9:00pm.

We have decided to change the venue, time and age restriction to try to encourage more entries to this important event.
Swanage has an abundance of lovely young ladies and we need one of them to be our Carnival Queen. This is open to girls of sixteen (16) years and over and it’s £4.00 to enter.

The Princesses will again be chosen at the Swanage Bay View Holiday Park at a later date and this will be advertised once decided upon.

The names and photographs will be published once they have all been selected. As an addition to Carnival Sunday, we are holding a ‘Royal Court’ in the arena at 12 noon.

This is to judge all the visiting Queens and to select an overall winner. This is a new event, so, come along and enjoy the pomp and ceremony.
