Well, you all really pulled out the stops for 2011!! Congratulations to all involved and a happy new year as we head into 2012! We all really enjoyed our holiday and it was wonderful to spend it in such a vibrant close knit town where we are getting to know a lot of people! We especially enjoyed the new 'painting tent' on sandpit field and must have spent a fortune;) I was so glad to see the committee have taken over the running of the Masquerade night, such an amazing difference to last year - very entertaining! (and the kids loved the disco too) Thank You. Just ordered our programme for 2012 so waiting in anticipation to start planning our week when we visit again this year. Thanks to all the organisers and volunteers!

Our Fantastic Holiday

Thank you for such a wonderful week last August (I know I'm a bit late messaging!) We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for yet another year, and the friends we brought with us enjoyed it so much we are all coming again this year, so we will see you all again on July 30th! - Just one thing - Can some committee members get involved with Masquerade night this year and work with the pubs to provide more than just drinking? This was the only thing that let the week down and I found out last year it was the only thing that the committee aren't involved in, and it showed! Please, please get them to improve it for 2011?????? THANK YOU!!!

i have always enjoyed swanage carnival but this year they were lacking the entertainment value by not having dancers and majorttes participate in the main parade please bring them back for next year.

The carnival was fantastic, we always come to swanage for our holidays but this was are first year for the carnival. It was amazing so much free entertainment, thought sandpitfield was brill my son loved it too especially the carnival!!! will be back for next year, thought all the live music was excellent especially uk pink floyd. again well done to all carnival committee members.type your message here

udrThought the whole week was fantastic with so much great, mainly free, entertainment. In doing the Foot Treasure Hunt we saw parts of the town we never knew existed. The "Whats not my Line" competition nearly drove us round the bend (in a nice way) and thoroughly enjoyed the live music : Please don't let the misery-guts who complain about it restrict it any further!
When will we know the following -
1. The Foot Treasure Hunt answers and results.
2.The Shop window answers and results.
3. The fundraising results
and finally
4. Who was The Mystery Band? - We couldn't make The Marquee on the final night.

what a brilliant week as usual! thankyou for such a good week, so much entertainment (and lovley weather of course!) we have attended for the last 10 years at least, this year we bought our mother and mother in law, who havnt stopped talking about it since we got back. excellent week and we look forward to coming again next year, thankyou!! p.s. who were the mystery band? x
