The Swanage Regatta & Carnival is a non funded organisation whose Constitution states that it’s object is:

*    The promotion of Regatta, Carnivals and Entertainments or all three and for such other purposes in
       connection with kindred matters as may be from time to time be decided upon.
*    The making of donations to charitable organisations and other causes deemed suitable by the Company

One of the oldest organisations of its kind, and reputedly, one of the biggest Regatta & Carnival in the U.K our members strive to fulfil the objects of our Constitution.

Being non funded, a lot of our time is taken up raising funds to put on the vast range of entertainment throughout carnival week. It is important to try and cover the expense of every event so that money raised throughout the ‘week’ goes toward the selected charities for that year.




This is why we are looking for members to become a ‘Friend of Swanage Carnival’, people who do not want full
commitment to joining the organisation but are willing to turn up during Carnival Week and help with collections and events'

During the year you will get a quarterly newsletters and invites
to any social event we may have.
