Air Displays

In 2009 we had two fantastic air displays for you and we hope to repeat that in 2010 The Red Arrows at Swanage Carnival (c) Chris Phillips

The Red Arrows Saturday 7th August. 11:30am
This is the fifth time that the Red Arrows have visited Swanage Carnival, the display last year was spectacular and we are certain it will be the same in 2010.

They will show off their acrobatic skills over Swanage Bay so everyone will be able to get a fantastic view from the beach and the surrounding cliffs and hills.

Since the weather is bound to be clear and sunny please be careful not to look into the sun whilst watching the display. The Red Arrows at Swanage Carnival Find out more about the Red Arrows here

Last year Swanage was full to overflowing for the show so please turn up extra early to avoid missing the display. The roads leading to Swanage were very busy with long tailbacks, to avoid being stuck in your car try parking at Corfe Castle and catching the steam train to Swanage. Swanage Railway will be laying on extra trains during Carnvial week.

The Red Devils Parachute Display Team Wednesday at 8.30pm - followed by fireworks

The Red Devils love coming to Swanage because it is one of the few places they get to parachute into the sea!

This is the third year in a row that we will welcome the Red Devils to Swanage.  The team will be parachuting across the bay in the darkening sky lit only by their flares toThe Red Devils at Swanage Carnival land in the sea off main beach.
